If I got married in Nevada do I have to register it in California also?
Hi pattysmith,
If a marriage is recorded and recognized in Nevada, then it would be considered as valid throughout the country. I don't think you'll have to record it separately in California. However, you can contact your county clerk's office and take their opinion.
