I just chaned my name when I naturalized as uS citizen. The property that I bought in New Jersey still going my old name. How can I go about changing the name on the deed.
Thanks

Hi rotella,
You will have to sign a quitclaim deed wherein you need to write your earlier name as the grantor of the property. Your new name would be mentioned as the grantee to the property. Thus, the property deed would have your new name. Then you will have to notarize and record the deed at the county recorder's office.
Thanks
