does a quit claim deed signed by the husband selling his part of the property to the wife avoid having to split the property when divorce is filed in the state of new jersey?

If the husband has signed a quit claim deed and transferred his property to the wife, then she would be considered as the sole owner of the property. Thus, I don't think the property needs to to be divided while the husband and wife file for divorce.
