How can you find out if there is a quitclaim on a piece of property in New York State?
Hi buzkaren,
As to your first question where a quitclaim deed is recorded, the answer is it is recorded in the count clerks office where the property is located. But the second question is not very clear. A quitclaim deed is simply a legal document that conveys one's share in the property to another. Do you mean to say how you'd know about who owns a piece of property?
