Trustee told me to turn over an inheritence I received and disclosed to the courts. Wish they left a little for a buffer. Would I have been better to not disclose it at all?
Hi mayble,
It is always advised to disclose the full amount of inheritance to the bankruptcy court. If you don't do so, it will be considered as illegal.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi mayble!
Welcome to forums!
Yes, if you don't disclose the full amount and if the court comes to know about it, then your bankruptcy filing may get dismissed.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
