What is the difference in Transfer on Death and Survivorship deeds? Also can you do either if there is a mortgage? Live in Ohio. (Not sure if this is submitting--Hope it does not duplicate)
Hi Emily!
Welcome to the forums!
Both Transfer on Death and Survivorship deeds are ways to transfer property avoiding the necessity for probate. However, both the options are not same. Though there is a mortgage on the property, these options could be taken into consideration.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi Emily,
You can contact your local attorney in order to know which option suits you the best.
Thanks
