In Ohio, a quit-claim deed was filed with the County Recorder's Office, after the grantor was deceased, although he (the deceased) signed the quit-claim deed before death. Is the quit-claim deed legally valid?
hi guest!

the quit claim deed should be filed with the county recorder when the grantor is alive. if you filed the deed after the grantor's death, then the deed might not be considered as valid. you should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
feel free to ask if you've further queries.
