I would like to sell a rental property and I believe that the benefits of financing it would help me as well as a buyer at this time. Where would one start to find a buyer and legal assistance to see this process through? My present tenant would like to buy, but states that he is not quite ready yet due to his current credit status.

I am really sure if you put the advertisement in your local craiglist listing you will surely get immediate response. It is one of the fast and easiest method.
Although you will get some good queries from mortgagefit visitors too...but on craiglist you can put the pictures of your home and that really works out.......
keep in touch........

Hi nerentals!
Welcome to forums!
You can go for owner financing which will help you as well as the tenant. You can contact an attorney and get an agreement drafted from him which would have the terms and conditions of the deal. To know more about owner financing, check out the given page:

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
