My mother has a morgage on her home. She wants to add her three grown children on the deed. What does she need from us in order to do this? Her home is in philadelphia Pa.
Hi quintaya!

Welcome to forums!

Your mother can use a quitclaim deed in order to add her three grown up children to the property deed. However, as there is a mortgage on her property, she should check out whether or not it has a clause stating that the loan will become due if there is a change of ownership. If such a clause is mentioned on the mortgage docs, then she will have to pay off the mortgage in full if she transfers the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

thank you is it still considered a transfer since her name will still also be on the deed?

Hi quintaya!

Welcome to forums!

Though her name will remain on the property deed, it may be considered as a transfer as new names will be added to the deed.

Hi Quintaya:
I need to rent a room for three months in Philadelphia, in Allentown. I would like to know the prices rates for a room/bath. I can share my room with another female student.
Thank you

Hi rutalfer,

I don't think anyone here will be able to help you in this matter. You should check out the "to let" sections of the local newspapers in order to find information in this regard.
