Hello,
My mobile home has been repossessed because I couldn't make the payments due to separating from my husband. The mobile home is under my name and I lost my job. I had to move out of town to find family support. The company now files a cause of loss to the insurance company on washer, dryer, range and refgr. but I didn't take anything only my clothes and my children's. The electric appliances were more than 10 yrs old. I left them there didn't have money to move my personal belongings. I owed only 30k on the mobile home. Can they sue me for the 30k? What if they sell it and get more than 30k..

Hi Gumble!
Welcome to the forums!
The mobile home company can come after you for the delinquent amount if they do not get back the dues in full. If they sell and get more, then they may return you the excess amount.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi Gumble,
I agree with Sussane. There are high chances that the mobile home company will be able to come after you in order to get the dues in full.
Thanks

The mobile company won't be leaving you unless they get the outstanding dues completely. If they sell and get more than 30k, then they will return you the extra money.
If this was in a park and did not come with the land it was attached to it will be treated like a car repo and the rules are different than a foreclosure - check with your local laws to see what they can and cannot do it may be different in every state.
