Pre-Approval Documentation?

Posted on: 06th Jul, 2009 08:16 am
Other than proof of income, do I need to have documentation for anything else? My student loans are currently in the consolidation process. I know how much the payment is going to be, but I haven't received an actual payment book or statements yet. Can I meet with a lender and just let them know how much it's going to be, or will I actually need this documentation? Thanks.
eventually, dan, you'll need this documentation. you ought to have little difficulty in being preapproved, however, without it at this time. in addition to your income documentation, you should provide bank statements at this time, too. if there is any derogatory information on your credit report, you'll want to combat that with evidence that things are current and/or paid in full.

Hi dan,

Welcome to our forum.

If you need loan then you have to submit required documents to lender. Proof of income is the part of the required documents for lender. You must have to provide your income statement. I is the most important point in your loan approval. Lender must want your income proof because he will decide that, Are you eligible to pay off loan ?.

Thanks & Regards.
