im paying for my mother-n-laws house for about 4 years know ,she has become disabled,so me and my wife moved into her house with our children to take care of her--i would like to know if she can just add me to her mortgage -i know my credit scores around the mid 600's so will they jack up the monthly payment because of that---thank you
a person cannot be added to a mortgage in a simple sense. in order to have a mortgage in your name as well as your mother-in-law's, you'd have to refinance the existing loan.
