i have 300 dollars worth of collection accounts, and my wife has 650+ credit score. with this is there any way to get approved for a morgage with both of us being on the loan?
I think ask your wife to apply for loan.
she has good credit score.
she has good credit score.
you will need to pay the collection accounts, and your score's going to have to increase. for most of us, that means a minimum score of 620. we understand that there are lenders who'll deal with scores lower than that - i have to think they're going to be more expensive.
well i am the primary income. she does work but we would need both of our incomes to get a house. so i for sure need to pay off the collections accounts to even be looked at for a possitive responds?
you might find a lender who won't require you to pay them off, but it's not going to be easy to find that person.
I may have someone to help you. The fees will be no more than any other lender because of the collections that you have but they might have to run your credit for Qualifying purposes.
