there are many types of mortgages - too many to list this briefly.
to get the gist of your post, however - there is no type of mortgage to give you "urgent money with low interest." why you'd want an adjustable rate is your own business, but not a terrific move, in my opinion.
can your brother help? maybe. there are too many unknowns to give you a better answer than that.

mortgage amount & interest dependes upon various factors. since your question is very generic in nature, difficult to say any thing. pl specify
MORTGAGE TYPES-
1) Low interest rate mortgage
2) Adjustable rate mortgage
3) Interest only mortgage
4) Assumable mortgage
5) Fixed rate mortgage
6) Reverse mortgage

Just search through the questions that have already been answered. See the "search" area in the upper right corner of your screen? Just type the terms you listed individually in there and spend some time reading. IF you still have questions that were not answered, then ask...
eric, i think it might be worthwhile to post that particular message on every forum we have here...maybe even on the opening page. not that people follow directions very well anyway, but it might just eliminate a "brand new" post up here that merely repeats those we've already seen in the past.
