I own a property that is free and clear, I purchased it for cash. Can I quitclaim it to a friend for a personal debt repayment purpose?
you can transfer rights by signing quit claim deed.

anyone can be a grantee on a quit claim deed - there is no stipulation that the person be a family member.

You can absoutley quit claim deed your property to any one you like. There is no restrictions.

Just to remind, if you have a loan on the house you are still liable to make the payments on the loan.

Good luck and feel free to ask
