My husband and I fell behind on our morage its 3 months past due Are we going to lose our house? We can pay all the past due amount. But we just got a letter from a lawyer but do not understand it. If we pay the past due can they still foreclose?

Yes, If you making past missing payments to lender then he will stop forclosure on your house. If you still being making payment to them,so there no chance to lose your own home. If he filed foreclosure & it is in process you can get help from our forum http://www.mortgagefit.com/know-how/loan-modification.html.

you need to speak to your mortgage lender. explain your problem to them & pay your past due amount as soon as possible.
if you are not comfortable with current monthly installment, you can discuss for refinance.
