I'm a non-resident alien with around 1.5 years of residence history and work history in the US. My credit score is around 750 and I make around 70K. Looking at getting a loan of $250K with a 5% down and bear the closing cost. Do you think I'll qualify?
You may need to waiti for another 6 months.
With 5% down, probably you are lookign at FHA loan and they requires atleast 2 years of work history
Your score is good to qualify for the loan

I wanted to know the minimum years of stay required and glad you told me that. Thanks for the reply.
Hi, Im not sure about the minimum of years required to stay here. But your income and fico score are good but you it would be better if you have the 10% down payment.
There is nto restrictions on minimum year of stay.
The lender normally look for at least 2 years of employment history to see that you have a stable job. SOme of them may over look this, but it is normally 2 years
