10 yr LTR breaks up.
Mortgage has both names on it, they were never married.
before he left they went bankrupt and refinanced &
she can't get another mortgage on her own. she was raising his kids who are now out of the house, she makes 20k.
now she is paying 100% and living there
he is living elsewhere and has just married
the bankruptcy and refi were only about a yr ago
she is concerned that with a new wife things could get complicated, but not sure how.
can she lose her home? is there anything she can do to protect her position? he wouldn't care if she wanted him to sign something or whatever, he would right now.
is there anything she can do?

"is there anything she can do?" well, the obvious answer to this, of course, is to continue to make the monthly payments until the loan is paid in full.
"he wouldn't care if she wanted him to sign something or whatever..."
are we to assume that she has carte blanche to have him do "whatever"?
if that's the case, then she ought to have him pony up the money for the mortgage for the duration. somehow i am doubting that this is going to work out, however.
again, if she continues to make the payments, she'll never lose the house. as for any arrangement with the former companion, i'd think that his new spouse might have an interest in "whatever" means.

Was the home mentioned in their divorce?
She can refinance or sell the home to someone she does trust and have the ex sign his rights away on the sale.
