Can a lien be put put on my property if I foreclose?

I currently live in colorado and purchased a home 3 years ago. Since this time we have had multiple problems with the house. We have tried to sell it while fixing the problems but was unsuccessful. Now we have septic and well problems that are beyond our budget to repair. We have decided that we are going to walk away. I also own a house in virginia that I inherited and plan on moving to it. I want to now if the bank can put a lien on this house or try to take it if I forclose on my house in colorado. Thanks for any help.
