I want to buy a home. Are there any lenders that will loan to me with a tax lein. I have been paying regularly and have plenty of income to cover the mortgage but dont know if someone will lend to me.
There is obviously a lot more detail to get here but the short answer is maybe yes, because you have been making payments on it regularly. If you show the agreement you set up and the payments you have made (we like to see 12 months +, but then again it depends on the balance) there is indeed a possibility. I suggest you do a full pre approval, not just the get on the phone and get a verbal but the whole send in all your stuff and get a loan commitment. That way your finances will be all looked at. At that point if you get approval, then just go find a house. Let me know if you would like to discuss further.
