I have a roommate and we are no longer interested in living together. I wonder can we do a deed in lieu for the property.
Hi,
You can do deed in lieu on the property, depending on whether your lender accepts your request. They do not generally accept your request for a deed in lieu unless you are in any serious financial hardship. So, I'm not sure if your lender will accept it. But you can at least talk to the lender about it.
