I currently live in CA and have no debt and am looking to buy a house in oregon that my in laws can move into or possibly my self down the road. My income is not tied down to a car payment or rent or anything. I have no credit card debt. Is it possilbe to get a mortgage on a home in oregon while living in CA?

Obvioulsy, we would need more details but, it sounds good so far. Do you have specific house in mind? Do you know your credit scores? ETC ETC
No home in mind yet. I currently earn between 47-50K per year. I could probably put 50K down. My experian score is 723 and my transunion 679. I was looking at new homes but I am not sure how mortgage loans work on new home construction.
You shouldn't have a problem obtaining a mortgage. "New construction" as already built, mortgage loans work like any other property with the exception of some additional docs from the builder/developer.
agreed, there are no restrictions that prevent someone from purchasing a home in a different state other than where one lives.
