I have been working with the bank on a deed in leiu, but am moving out this weekend to relocate for a new job. What happens in the event that I have to move out and leave the home before something is worked out with my bank? I intend to stay in contact with the bank and have told them of my intentions, but they keep putting me off, "call back in a weeks time" is what I am told everytime I ask as to the status of my situation. Does anyone have any advice?
Hi chines!
Welcome to forums!
You will have to inform your lender that you need to move out of the state for your new job. You can keep in touch with your lender though you stay in another state and get the property sold off at the auction asap.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
