will this be a problem i will pay any shortfall for my son if he has any he and his gf both work full time. the reason they need a co signer is that he has no credit history. i have taught him to pay cash or use his debit card. so at 22 he has no credit snd no debt makes close to 40k gf is about 30k. i am doing a refinance to to a one time settlement with my x.

thank you all
Hi ecm,

As your son does not have any credit record, it might get difficult for him to cosign for a mortgage. Nevertheless, you should contact a lender and take his opinion in this matter. It will be the lender's discretion whether or not he will agree to it.
