Want to know if a company USFP,LLC in the mortage reduction business is legit?
Hi davidw!
Welcome to forums!
USFP, LLC may be into the mortgage reduction business. However, I won't be able to let you know whether or not they are a legitimate company. It is better to contact your own lender and take help to pay off your mortgage rather than going for a third party.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

First to Sussane.....I have to disagree with you! I tried for the almost a year working DIRECTLY with my lender on a loan modification and any other option they have to lower my payments or even reduce my balance since I'm upside down but only to end up almost being foreclosed upon.
Now to you David....I was solicited by one of USFP's agent about RESPA violations and luckily I listened and hired them. I recently got great news that the lawyers were able to get a FULL Reconveyance!!! I now own my house free and clear!! USFP is a LEGIT company!! Finally the small homeowner gets relief like the big banks have been getting from the gov't.

Francis, I'm considering doing this... How long was the process? Did you pay upfront?
Francis what was your total debt after they got your re conveyance? Ir is my understanding that most of these companies have a hefty price afterwards. most important what happens if the owner cannot pay?
About 6K just to start, then 40% of the Market Value at the end.... It's cheaper to hire someone to do the loan mod, especially with new programs out there because of settlements, etc.... And BTW... No one should ever quote a success rate, because if ever audited or investigated and that number is NOT accurate even by 1% that company could be fined or shut down....
MY HUSBAND AND I PAID 6K AND THE COMPANY HAS BEEN GIVING US THE RUN AROUND ITS BEEN 3 YRS. AND THEY PROMISE THEY WILL GET IT DONE WITHIN 8 MONTH. I THINK THEY RIPED US OFF.
Hi helen,
If they have been giving you a run around for the last 3 years, then I don't think they will be able to do it within the next 8 months!!
Thanks

anyone who is reading this, usfp is a total scam! it has been confirmed with the nevada attorney general. please call john mcglamery in constituent services 775-684-1100. he will instruct you on how to file a mortgage fraud complaint and send you legitimate forms for the current law suits against the banks. i have been duped out of almost $11,000 from usfp and their latest scam of having people "donate" their homes to a non-profit, paying a ridiculous amount of "rent" to that non-proft over the course of 3 years was what pushed me over the edge. i spoke with an independent attorney at the a.g.'s suggestion as well and he told me the same thing. if you have already put your house into a "trust" per usfp's instructions you need to do a quit claim deed back to yourself. if you look closely at that trust you are going to see a name of a woman in seattle, wa that no one knows who she is. by deeding it back to yourself she will be removed. do not pay usfp anything more! if you are sending checks to shapiro green check out that mailing address. it is a rented mailbox inside a printing company. there is no shapiro green listed on the nv bar and the attorney general confirmed this for me. if they have cashed a personal check from you then get copies of both sides. if someone can get their banking information it will help in recovering some of our money. if you were like me you always paid in cash or certified funds as they requested. they requested it that way because you cannot trace their bank that way. i was told how they avoided mail fraud. they never mailed anything. you had to go to their office, sign, go back the next day, pick up a sealed packet that you had no idea what was in it and you mailed it. if they mailed anything it would be considered mail fraud and the feds would be brought in right away. this has been a scam from day one. i recommend you call the a.g.'s office right away and seek a private attorney.
Someone asked about one of the addresses associated with USFP, 2564 Wigwam Parkway #210, Henderson, NV 89074. That is a rented mailbox inside a postal store! The address for their "attorney" Shapiro Green is also a rented mailbox inside a printing store on Maryland Parkway.
Thanks a lot for sharing this!! Your experience and opinion will help others take the right decision.
