Can student loan in defferal used as a trade line for mortgage purposes? Thank you

As far as I know, it can used as a trade line for mortgage purpose. However, you should have other positive trade lines in your credit report in order to qualify for a loan.

You need a minimum of 3 tradelines for a lender to acquire a proper score. Student loans benefit you inasmuch as the payment record shown is favorable.
