my husband's ex-wife lives in their old house and was suppose to make all payments to the mortgage company but never did and other than selling the house she did a loan modification on the house. now my husband's name is still the primary on the citi-mortgage loan and she is the co-borrower, my husband never signed the loan modification and only she did (#1. can she do that without his signature, or should we be worried so forged his signature and information?) also, citi-mortgage will not send us any of the loan modifications on the house and no a quit claim deed has never been done. what should we do to find out if this is legal and to get copies of the information so if she did forge his signature we can take her to court for forgery? thank you for all answers in advance.
Hi BrynneRyan!

As far as I know, your husband's signature will be required if his ex-wife wishes to modify the loan. You should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He will let you know what legal actions you can take in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
