Posted on: 04th Aug, 2011 10:09 am
my husband and I are being evicted from a home we are buying on a land contract, we are not behind on our payments. our agreement says payment must be made by the 1st of the month, we have always given him 200.00 by the 1st and the other 200.00 no later then the 7th and have paid the late fee the one time we were later then the 7th. we have put alot of money into the house (plumbing, flooring, painting) what should we do to try to keep the house? if we can't how long can we stay? any help would be greatly appriciated..thank u
You cannot be evicted from a property that you hold a valid lease without have broken part of the agreement. If you have not broken the agreement, and the agreement is still valid and in effect, then you should consult an attorney.
