Home for sale, in forclosure, and it says deed not recorded.
The house is bank owned and I know it was due to a divorce. One claimed bankrupcy and the wife hasn't yet done so. There was a loan through a bank that isn't being paid. Once both file bankrupcy, will the deed then be recorded?
Thank you.

welcome duffer,
unless the deed is recorded at the county recorder's office, it won't be considered as legal. filing bankruptcy won't help in this regard. it will be better if the concerned person can contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard.

Anyway from what country are you? You have to seek for a legal advice and ask for assistance, you can also try out having a debt agreement it is better than filing a bankruptcy.
