Hi, my husband and I are going threw the process for the second time in the past 3 months. We started in August, the first loan was a FHA loan. We were finacing a double wide. We were a week from closing when our paper work got messed up. They forgot to add in sales tax in our loan. When they did add it in it put us over the amount we were approved for. So had were looking any where and everywhere for some take and give so that we could still close. That didnt work out so we switched to finacing a Modular home and changed our loan to a RHS loan.
My questions are since we have went threw the process got approved once already but switched the loan will it look bad on us when the under writter sends it to the bank again? Will the process this time go quicker since they had all our info already? I want to me movied in by christmas is that asking to much? I was very patient the first go around but this time im not I need a time line...
The bank its going to is chase. Are they good with making it happen quickly and efficiantly?
thanks any thoughts would easy my mind
on top of that we have had to survey pasted down undeveloped land and get permitts for in city development and we cleared the land ourselfs to save money that way we didnt have to finance excavating labor.

Hi stormy!
Welcome to forums!
I don't think the process will be faster compared to the last time though they have all the required documents. However, you may request your lender to close the loan asap so that you can move into the property by Christmas.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
