I'm trying to close on a FHA loan. I have a 4yr old cell phone bill which I shouldn't even have. It had a dispute reported to all 3 credit reports. I had to call all 3 CRA and say I'm not disputing. Two of them came off right away. The one on my Equifax took 30 day to come off. The next day they put the disputes back on TU and Experian. I called and told them again I'm not disputing this account and they just removed the dispute remarks from Equifax. Experian took them off right away, but TransUnion is doing another 30 day investigation. How can I make this stop and go away? The creditor knows I'm trying to close on a loan and knows I can't with these remarks. This whole situation seems wrong to me.
Generally they should remove the dispute as you requested. Call again and speak to a manager, supervisor and explain your purchasing a home and this is affecting your approval, and costing you per diem in interest...
Hello kmore,
Moreover, the ethical decisions of small business owners are likely to impact far greater numbers of people than are the ethical decisions of that business owner's employees.
