You should clarify what the APR will be. Apart from this, you should check out the interest rate and the closing costs that you will be charged for the loan.

You will have to shop around to find a good lender for obtaining mortgage. Once this is done, you will have to ask your lender about the interest rate that he will charge on the loan. Make sure you evaluate your credit score beforehand so that you can request your lender to lessen the interest on your mortgage. Besides this, don't forget to ask about the hidden charges that the lender may impose upon the loan.

Ask how long they think it will take to close the loan - ask about rates and fees - there are a lot of costs that are not the bank so keep this in mind when comparing - your title fees etc will be similar but they are not in the control of the lender.
