where I can obtain rent loss insurance?
Iliana,
If you currently have insurance on your rental property, just contact your insurance agent. They should be able to add a policy rider to cover loss of rent (usually about 6 mos). Most lenders require this coverage if you have a mortgage on the property.

Hi Iliana,
Welcome to this forum.
You should talk to your insurance agent and he can help you out to obtain rent loss insurance. If he cannot help you, look for another insurance agent.
Thanks,
Larry

Hello Iliana,
It is important for you to get the rent loss insurance as most mortgage companies require you to have this policy and some are even making it mandatory, like Freddie Mac.
You will find the names of few insurance companies listed here at http://www.landlordassociation.org/insurance.html who offer rent loss insurance.
Hope this helps you.
