What do I do?

I am in a middle of nowhere and need advice right away please. Both my husband and myself have 6 properties. We are going through divorce and want to get rid of all the properties. Because of the low market, we couldn't sell them. We both have high income but non of us can afford keeping the properties by oneself. Please advise what to do? Thanks a lot.
If you can afford the properties together then you should just keep paying on them until you can sell.
Or split them up. If you can afford 6 together you should be able to afford 3 alone.

Check the local newspaper rental ads. Start calling some landlords and see if there is anyone looking to purchase some properties right now. Consider packaging them on contract to the investor and make it attractive to that person. If the terms are right, they may be more apt to work a deal if there is some cash flow, or cf potential.

Don't give up too easily... just get creative and flexible. Otherwise the dream of rental property riches will ruin the next 10 years of your financial lives.

Best of luck!
