Last march 2011 my 2nd mortage/loan was charged off by. Chase. I am in chapter 13 repayment plan but overlooked my 2nd loan payments and was paying it over the counter in one of the chase branches. Instead of sending it by mail. By the time I found out my 2nd mortage was already charged off. Chase sold it to a collection agency march 2011 but since then I have not heard anything from the collection agency. Is that common that they have not called me yet ?
Welcome Trevor,
As far as I know, it's common that the collection agency have not called you yet. The collection agency may call you in the coming days in order to recover the debts.

Hi Trevor!
Welcome to forums!
I agree with Adonis. Once your debt has been charged off by the original creditor and assigned to a collection agency, they may not contact you immediately. However, it is true that they may contact you within a few months time. Unless they contact, you shouldn't make any kind of payments to them.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
