My spouse had to leave his job due a severe bad relationship with his boss. We lost about 40% of our income and now are paying more than 50% of our income toward the mortgage. I was told by a USDA employee that we cannot get any additional assistance because of the reason why he lost the job. We want to sell but the value of the house is less than what we own. We would like to request for a short sale? Does anyone know how short sale request to RD goes?
