My house was sold at a foreclosure auction. Though I was present at the auction, will I be notified about the same? Also, how long do I have to vacate the property? My property was sold off for a profit on part of the lender. Will I be able to get the extra money?
Hi Tyra,
As far as I know, you will be notified about the sale. You will receive an eviction notice which will mention the time period within which you will have to leave the property. The lender will deduct the mortgage amount, charges and fees and return you the leftover amount.
Take care

Welcome Tyra,
Yes, you will be notified about the sale of the property. Legally, the lender should provide you with the excess amount that he receives from the sale of the property.
