Hello there… I have a query. I had heard a bankruptcy rumor long ago. It was explained to me that your credit score is compared with everyone else while a credit report with a bankruptcy is scored on sort of a tiered scale. Your score with a BK is only based/compared with those with a BK?
Hi BKC,
I have also heard the same. But you should note that even if the bankruptcy reduces your scores, you get rid of all your debts and will be able to start everything afresh. Thus, with time, you will be able to build up your scores.
Take care

Hi BKC,
It will be better if you could contact a bankruptcy attorney in this regard and take his opinion. He will be able to let you know how the bankruptcy will affect your credit.
Thanks
