if i filed bankrutpcy can the lien be removed? and how can i protect my property after ten years of the lien?
Hi Guest,
You can include the lien in your bankruptcy filing and get it discharged. Thus, you won't be personally liable for paying the lien any more. However, the lien holder still holds the lien on the property and can sell off the property to recover his dues. You will be able to save the property if you pay off the lien in full.
Thanks
