Hi we agree to have a home bluid and put earnest money of $5,000 down while home is being built, But now nothing is going right, first we ask for a seprate bath and shower which was a upgrade and we also had tile upgrade and a few more things as well but now we went to home and things are diff. salesman said we didnt upgrade for tub and shower so we said ok we will take the standard tub and shower combine, so 3 weeks later we go back and there a cheap and i mean cheap plastic shower only? man for $200,000 home we geta $99 shower and we dont know if we can do anything the salesman is really jerking us around and said thats the way it is HELP HELP
Hello Bill,

Remember to leave some wiggle room for the almost-inevitable additional expenses that are bound to crop up.If you can't afford to build without stretching over your budget, save and wait until you can or choose to buy a home instead.

Hi BILL,

You may request the salesman to change the plastic shower with a standard one. Check out his reactions in this regard and then think of your next steps.
