With most contracts the consumer has the right to cancel before a certain date. Is this true of closed-end loan modification agreement? Does it have to state in the agreement that you have a certain amount of time to cancel the agreement? Also, what determines the amount of the finance charge?
Hi sandra!
Welcome to forums!
I haven't heard of cancellation of loan modification contracts. If you want to cancel your loan modification contract, I would suggest you to contact your lender and have a word with him.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi,
Do you want to know the time period of canceling the loan modification? As per my knowledge, once you sign the loan modification agreement, it is the discretion of the lender to cancel the agreement. Speak with your lender regarding your situation and try to solve it.
