My car go repoed, and the car dealership sold my car, they then took me to court for the remaining balance, I wasn't working, now they sent me a letter saying they put a lien on any of my real property, what does this mean and can they do this?

If they have court orders surely they can put a lien on your property and thus after selling the property they will recover their dues.So if you wish to protect your interest in the house you may consider filling ch.7 bankruptcy....for further details regarding bankruptcy you may refer the below mentioned link....
