After lot of dilly-dallying, I finally filed chapter 7. I had my meeting of the creditors and I’m really excited. I applied for Captial One Platinum and was approved for $300. I applied for credit one and was declined. Would like to have 2 credit cards but what would you guys advise?
Hi Wassam,
As far as I can understand, it doesn't matter how many secured credit cards you have. What will matter is the fact as to how you have been maintaining the cards. If you make regular payments on your card and keep your balances low and avoid maxing out the cards, then it will help you improve your scores with time. However, if you have multiple cards but don't maintain them, then your credit will be in trash.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Wassam!
Welcome to forums!
I agree with what Jerry has said. Number of cards won't matter. But paying the cards on time will have a positive impact on your credit.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
