Hi, This a very common story in this economy. If your not using the credit or pay down bills on cards with large limits. Companies are cutting back there risks by cutting peoples limits or completely closing the account. If you have had good history with them and had the account for a long time i would try to give them a call and complain to them.
"complain" may a little too much, though...if your history is good, ask them to reinstate the card for you. presumably they don't really want to lose a good customer, after all.

It is true in this economy it is happening to lot of people.
If you have not used it for a while they will close for sure. The banks are not takign any chances.
It does not matter if you are a good customer. But if you have been a bad customer then the moment you pay it off, they will probably close
Good luck and feel free to ask

Its sad what credit card companies are doing to customers who fulfill their obligations and stretch themselves to pay down balances only to see limits reduced or lines completely closed out.
