I can not find the co borrower on my home. How can I ever sell if this person can not be located? How can I get this person off the loan?
blndgrl, i deleted your other post because it was a duplicate.
you will definitely have difficulty with any transacations unless you can locate your coborrower. i suppose you could get a private detective on the case. have you googled the person? it's astounding how much information is out on the web about us. do you know any of the relatives that might assist you?
you can, if all else fails, get legal counsel to help you out with this. there is likely a way, with legal manuevers, to solve your problem. this is not to say that it's going to be overnight, but i think if you go that route, if needed, that you'll be successful.
