I have a property listed for sale for almost a year now for less than amount owed on the the property. However, I have not been able to pay my condo fee and the management company has taken me to court after filing a lien in order to collect. What is the best approach to deal with the condo fees? If the condo does not sell in couple of months after about 9 months with no single offer, I intend on doing a DIL. My question is how to deal with the condo management attorney and the fees considering it is in court already.
Thanks

If the condo association places a lien on your property, you'll have to first pay off the lien and then sell the property. I would suggest you to negotiate with the condo management and try to get a payment plan to pay off those fees. This will help you in avoiding the lien on your property.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
