Hello,
I live in Toronto, Canada. I am paying 1000$ every month as rent. Now me and my hubby is deciding to buy our own house, but as his and mine credit score is not good, we are asking his father to co-sign for us. His dad has his own house which is all paid means no mortgage on his house.

I just wanna ask what would be his ( his dad ) responsibily if he co-signs for us. What kinda paper work he has to do to be able to do this?

Thanks.
Simone.

if he is signing as coowner, he will be assumed as one liable to pay mortgage. since he has good credit scroe, he can do it to help you out.
