My husband and I bought a house, we were not married at the time. Both names are on the dead. We have refinanced and my name is soley on the loan. My husband and I are now separated and I have left the house. He is putting me in a bind. The payments are behind for 4 going on five months. What are my legal rights. I want to keep my house but he is not willing to leave. He does not have a steady income at the present time. Will I be able to save my house or will I have to quick sale or just let it foreclose?????
have you not decided what to do with property ?

You may use an interspousal deed for transferring the ownership rights in your name. but it seems your husband is trying to take advantage. you simply consult attorny.
