Just went through a long tough divorce and cant keep the mortage up with all the allowmoney and child support. with mortage and all more then I make. could I do this Deed in Lieu process and wil the bank do this? Thanks Terry

if your facing hardship in paying your mortgage dues and if you're already late on your mortgage payments, then you can apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure with your lender. there are chances that the lender will accept it. however, if you're current on your mortgage payments, then the lender may not accept your request for a deed in lieu of foreclosure.
