I moved in a house about 2 years ago. It was winter there were minor problems with the house I fixed them as they came. It is now the spring and because of things we could not predict going bad I became late on my mortgage. The house has bad insulation, and an old central air unit . With this combination of things going wrong my energy bill is constantly at the $300 price range every month. I would like to just get out of the house and give it back to the bank what would you recommend to do
Welcome lilturtbhc,

You will have to contact the bank and apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure. Depending upon your financial situation, the lender will let you know whether or not your request will be accepted.
